Angelia Marie DuVall, 41 of Westfield, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Angelia was born March 22, 1970 at Grissom Air Force Base in Miami County, IN. She was a 1988 graduate of Taylor High School in Kokomo, IN, 1992 graduate of IU Kokomo and a 1998 graduate of IUPUI.
Angelia was an elementary teacher in the Westfield Washington School System from 1998-2000. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Westfield and was an avid tennis player at Carmel Racquet Club and The Bridgewater Club. Angelia was devoted to her family and friends and will be remembered as a kind hearted blessing to all who knew her.
Angelia is survived by her husband of 21 years, Tim; children, Kyle and Cara DuVall; parents, Henry and Jill Bolger; sisters, Mary Williams and Jan (Gary) Lane; brother, Rob Galbraith; grandmother, Mildred Crutchfield; father and mother-in-law, John and Linda DuVall; brother-in-law, Scott (Jill) DuVall; nephews, Caleb and Aaron DuVall, Dustin Lane, Blaise Galbraith; nieces, Tiffany Williams, Maggie and Katie Lane, Alanna Galbraith.
Visitation will be Friday, February 24 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel. Funeral services are at 11:00 am Saturday, February 25 at Christ United Methodist Church in Westfield.
Memorial contributions in memory of Angelia may be made to the Komen Tissue Bank, 1001 W. 10th Street, Room OPE 334, Indianapolis, IN 46202 or IU Health Hospice through the Methodist Health Foundation, PO Box 7168, Indianapolis, IN 46207
