William Howard Kiefner, 74, of Orleans, died Monday, June 11, at Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana.
He was born July 9, 1937 in Orleans, the son of Clarence Boyd and Anna Louise Wilson Kiefner. He was a veteran and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He married Una Mae Shaffer Kiefner on January 2, 1960 and she survives.
Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, William Michael Kiefner of California, Steven Boyd Kiefner of Albuquerque, New Mexico and a daughter, Teresa Lynn Kiefner, also of Albuquerque. There are three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A brother, Rex B. Kiefner of Kentucky survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Richard and David and a sister, Mary.
Cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation or services.
Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home in Orleans is in charge of the arrangements.
