Tilman was born on September 27, 1919 and passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012.

Tilman was a resident of Bloomfield, Indiana at the time of his passing.

He served his country in World War II in the 781st Tank Battalion of the United Sates Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Pastor Paul McHenry and Becky McHenry officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and 1 hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Newark cemetery in care of the funeral home.
