Robert Decker Roler, 87, Kokomo, passed away at 2:10 AM Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Waterford Place Health Campus. He was born January 20, 1925 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Dr. Martin Luther and Gertrude J. (May) Roler. On October 6, 1950 in Sharpsville, he married Anna "Annie" Mae (Ramseyer); she passed away on February 13, 2004.

He graduated from Sharpsville High School; then served in the United States Navy (CVE 120 Mindero). In 1966 Robert started the Robert Roler and Associates, Inc., where he was a realtor. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Kokomo Board of Realtors, where he served as past president, Elks Lodge #190, Lions Club, where he served as past president, Naphtali Lodge #389, F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, where he earned his 32nd Degree, Murat Shrine of Indianapolis, and the Kokomo Shrine Club.

Surviving is a son; Patrick R. Roler, Kokomo, daughter; Pamela S. Booze, Kokomo, four grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, sister and brother in-law; Joan May and Dr. Richard Norman, Alton, Illinois. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A Masonic service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2012 with funeral services starting shortly after at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street with Rev. Dr. P. Mark Hill officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Mausoleum with full military rites conducted by the Kokomo VFW military rites team. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be directed to Wesleyan Manor in Frankfort, Indiana, envelopes will be provided at the mortuary on Wednesday.
