Richard Dwight "Rick" Massy, 57, passed away October 22, 2011. He was born August 4, 1954 in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Greenwood.

Rick was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had worked as a Senior Engineering Tech at the Naval Air War Center/Raytheon and as a maintenance specialist for airliners at AAR. He was a member of the Admirals Club and the Indiana Model Rocket Association.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Cullar) Massy; children, Nathaniel and Nicole Massy; mother, Betty (Will) Massy Shannon; brother, Jon (Anita) Massy of Greenfield; sister, Glenda (Tim) Haskell of Cape Coral, Florida; and nephews, Jonathon Massy, Joseph Massy, James A. Massy, Vincent Haskell and Spencer Haskell. He was preceded by his father, Dwight Massy.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 28, 2011 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 27 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 6100 W. 96th, Suite 200, Indpls, IN 46278-6005.
