Martha Marie Miller
93, Franklin, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away May 6, 2012. Martha was a Library Assistant with Indianapolis Public Schools for 21 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Irvington Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and Tuxedo Park Baptist Church. Martha was a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association and was active with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. She is survived by her children, Donald Evans (wife, Karen) Miller, Patricia (husband, Bruce) Thompson and Russell Miller; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Miller, her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Services for Martha will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
