Marjorie E. Barrett 85, New Palestine, IN, died July 15, 2011. The daughter of Raymond and Julia Ruschhaupt Lantz, she was born November 7, 1925 in New Palestine. Marjorie was a graduate of Purdue University and member of Chi Omega Sorority, Kappa, Kappa, Kappa - Upsilon Chapter and Beta Associate, New Palestine Methodist Church and Home Economics Guild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in Hendryx Mortuary, New Palestine Chapel, 19 East Main Street, where friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 and one hour prior to services. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Barrett; brothers, Gerald Lantz and Wilbur Lantz and sister, Berniece Boring. Survivors include daughter, Julie Ochs; sons, James Barrett and Randall Barrett.
