M. Ruth Cunningham, 92, of Cloverdale, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away April 29, 2012 at her residence. The daughter of Earl and Lula Bell (Snowden) Lashbrook, Ruth was born October 6, 1919 in Indianapolis.

A homemaker, she had worked as a secretary.

Visitation: 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. May 2, 2012 at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel 11636 East Washington Street. Private burial in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.

Survivors: son, Ronald Cunningham of Indianapolis; daughters, Janice Mills of Florida and Sherry Taylor of Cloverdale; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold N. Cunningham; daughter, Deanna Speight; brothers, James, Allen and Jack Lashbrook; sister, Anna Wimmenauer.
