Louann Lehman, 58, of Martinsville passed from this life in the loving embrace of her children and husband on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2:10 a.m. at the IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born on July 30, 1953 in Bloomington, Indiana, to the late Lawrence Harrold and Thelma Lucille (Welding) Spangler.

Louann was a graduate of Martinsville High School with the class of 1971 and she received her associates degree in accounting during the mid 1980's. She had worked for Temple Inland in Indianapolis in the accounting department for 26 years, retiring in July 2010.

On June 6, 1987 she married Randy Lehman; he survives in Martinsville.

Louann was a licensed insurance agent, a member of the Martinsville Elks Lodge #1349, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #230, German American Club of Greenwood and the Columbia Club in Indianapolis. She enjoyed many things in life, but most importantly her children and grandchildren. She took pleasure in reading a good book, a good movie, beach vacations, spending time with friends, animals, her annual Super Bowl Extravaganza, IU Basketball, Colts Football, and especially her Pacers.

She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends including her husband of nearly 25 years, Randy Lehman; son, Bradley (wife, Michele) Martin of Whiteland; daughter, Kimberly Kern of Paragon; sisters, Pauline Jeffries of New Whiteland and Paula Keeton of Indianapolis; brothers, Larry Moon of English, IN and Jerry Moon of Martinsville; seven grandchildren, Brice & Lydia Kern, Tyler, Victoria, Hunter, Aubrey & Amelia Martin and her beloved English Mastiff, Baxter Joe.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, May 2nd from 4-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, May 3rd from 9-10:00 a.m. at Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center in Martinsville. Pastor Jon Smith will conduct a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
