Kenneth E. Burbrink, age 93 of Columbus (Jonesville), went to be with his Lord early Sunday morning, June 10th, 2012 at home with his family surrounding his bedside. Ken was born November 7, 1918 at the residence where he died. He was the son of Carl and Pearl (Wampler) Burbrink. Ken married Ruth June Busby on November 7, 1942 at the U.S. Marine Corps Base in Quantico, VA and this year, they would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

He was a lifetime member of the Seymour First Nazarene where he served as a church board member, Sunday School Superintendent and, most recently, as a teacher of Senior Adults until 2011. Ken served his country 15 years, having served during World War II and was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain from the U.S. Marine Corp.
Survivors include his best friend and wife June, his daughter Jane (Don) Dunnington and his son Curtis L. (Jerri) Burbrink. Ken also had 6 grandsons, Deron (Deawn) Dunnington, Jason Dunnington, Kevin (Alisha) Dunnington, Justin (Laura) Burbrink, Jerad Burbrink, and Joel (Becky) Burbrink He also was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey, Luca, Petra, Henry and George Dunnington, Beau, Brayden, Brooklyn, Brock, Kingen and Ava June Burbrink.
