Kay Eiko Abe Colby, 82, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away on February 12, 2012, peacefully at home after a short battle with cancer.

Kay was born on September 6, 1929 in Yamagata, Japan. Kay and her husband, Larry Colby, lived in Indianapolis from 1970 to 2006. She was a member of SGI Church.

Kay is survived by her husband, Larry Colby; son, Gene Cordova, Jr. and wife, Leslie; son, Jim Cordova and wife, Sharon; daughter, Tina Seacat and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Jason Cordova, Melissa Cordova, Amy Cordova, Allison Seacat, Nicholas Seacat, Justin Cordova; great-granddaughter, Isis Cordova; dog, Taro.

Memorial services and interment will be held in Indianapolis in the summer. Arrangements by Henryx Mortuary.
