James Chandler Costin
80, Indianapolis, passed away in Friday April 13, 2012. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Nancy Boyd Costin; daughter, Janice Tedrow (Matt); son, Jeff Costin (Jennifer); grandsons, Wade and Chase Costin and a sister, Carolyn Costin Tucker (John).
In addition to his parents, Mildred and James Costin, Jim was preceded in death by his son, Douglas T Costin.
Jim graduated from Broad Ripple High School and DePauw University where he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon. Jim was founder and president of CSA Promotions, Inc. He was a member of Meridian St. United Methodist Church for many years, and most recently a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church where he attended the Garden regularly. He was a board member of Happy Hollow Camp and the American Diabetes Association, Indiana affiliate, treasure and board member of Marquette manor Foundation, member of Maxinkuckee Yacht Club.
Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm April 18, 2012 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Robertson Chapel. Visitation with family will follow in the Fellowship Hall where light refreshments will be served. Burial will be held privately at Crown Hill Cemetery.
