Greg B. Spears, 44, of Franklin, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at his residence.

On November 13, 1967, Greg was born to Joseph and Delois Slaughter Spears in Indianapolis. He was a 1987 graduate of Center Grove High School. Greg worked for Eli Lilly as a Production Technician. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.

Survivors include his parents; wife: Christina Spears; daughter: Bailey G. Spears; son: Tanner G. Spears; step-daughter: Olivia Easterday; brother: Carlton Spears; aunt: Delene Jennings; uncles: Archie Slaughter, Carl Slaughter, Gary Slaughter, Luther Spears and Roger Spears; three nephews.

Preceding him in death are his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory at 481 W. Main St., Greenwood, IN 46142. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 4 until 8 P.M. where memorial contribution may be made to Riley Children's Foundation 30 S Meridian Street, Suite 200 Indianapolis, IN 46204.
