Gene was born on December 26, 1923 and passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
Gene was a resident of Franklin, Indiana at the time of his passing.
Gene was a graduate of Franklin High School.
He served as a signalman in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific.
He is survived by his wife Ilena.
A celebration of Gene's life will be held on Monday evening, April 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call on Monday, April 30th from 3:00 p.m. to time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin where military rites will be conducted.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Johnson County and/or to the Alzheimer's Association.
