Floyd Steenbergen, 85, of Indianapolis, died on May 9, 2012.
Floyd was born on November 26, 1926 to Floyd and Mary Steenberger. Floyd was a retired Indianapolis Fire Fighter with 28 years of service. He swerved in the Army and is a World War II veteran having served in the Philippians. Floyd was a member of the American Legion and Veteran of Foreign Wars.
Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Willodene (Hedges) Steenbergen and two sisters, Mae Perdue and Christine Ashcraft. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his beloved children, Ronald D. Steenbergen, Randall D. Steenbergen, (Joan) and Lori E. Bowman (Mark) along with Grandchildren Emily, Alison, Abby, Christa, Angie, Amanda and Joshua plus Great Grandchildren Connor, Cole, Sydney, Randy, Olivia, Kaitlin and Taylor.
