Condolences to the family of beloved Mr. Steenbergen. I went to Howe H.S. with Randy and his wife Joan. God bless you during this most difficult time.

I am writing with a message from my father, Charles Pierson, age 91 who had lots of great times with your dad (Steeney). He was related to another fireman, Otto Weer who introduced the two. The guys had lots of laughs and a few fun trips with the wives. Dad said your mom was a wonderful woman and he and Caroline loved a trip they took together to St. Louis long ago. He said even though your mom rarely drank

The guys had lots of laughs and a few fun trips with the wives. Dad said your mom was a wonderful woman and he and Caroline loved a trip they took together to St. Louis long ago. He said even though your mom rarely drank she tolerated the guys singing and drinking until all hours upon occasion. As a child I remember coming to the home and being treated really nice. I am one of three girls about the age of the sons. The "girls" are late fifties and early sixties. Time does fly. He will be missed. Dad is sorry he lost touch with him and wanted me to share some stories. May he rest in peace.

So hard to say "goodbye for now" to such a wonderful / positive (always smiling) Uncle. WOW- the times we had with Uncle Steeny, Aunt Willy and Cousins on our visits to their home was a time we always looked forward to and still cherish every memory today. Uncle Steeny & Aunt Willy always made you feel good about yourself. Dean & Troy especially remember going down to the basement to play pool in the coolest billiard

Uncle Steeny & Aunt Willy always made you feel good about yourself. Dean & Troy especially remember going down to the basement to play pool in the coolest billiard room. We were in AWE of how neat it was down there with the pool balls painted on the walls and just everything about our visits made for a GREAT DAY. We only say goodbye for now and look forward to seeing him again on another plane of existence. His Soul shall live on- in Peace- Without Pain- and Love in the house of the LORD! What a fine man- what an honor to be a Family member(s) and what a blessing you will give us each day. He was also one heck of a tile man. Honor and Glory to you Unc and may God Bless you with every PROMISE the Lord has made to all that believe! So long for now and you will always be in our hearts & memories! We will always remember Steeny as a loving, caring person who was sincerely interested in everyone. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

I was introduced to Floyd by his sons Ron and Randy. I had the honor to lift a few brews with Floyd, exchange war stories and just enjoy life.

Because of his warm good humor and "frisky" nature, they are hours I will always remember.
