Erma Jean Wells, 85, of Indianapolis, IN. passed away June 11, 2012. She was born April 30, 1927 in Indianapolis to Ernest D. and Lela H. Dinsmore. Jean graduated from Arsenal Technical HS in 1946, worked at Communication Workers of American for 16 years, retiring in 1962 and attended the Calvary Tabernacle Church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald R. Wells, daughter Radonna J. Doan, son Daniel D. Wells, grandson Rick A. Wilburn, brother Herbert Dinsmore, nieces: Darlene Olmstead, Brenda Crawford, Tina Schrader and Tamera Skillman, nephews: Daniel Thomas, David Dinsmore and Steve Dinsmore. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Murlene McClellan. Memorial Contributions may be made the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be Wednesday June 13, 2012 from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur. The funeral will be Thursday June 14, 2012 at 1 PM in the funeral center.
