Every time i pass by the corner now i wish i could go back to those days when life wasnt quite so hectic. Mary, thanks for all you did for me back then and I am so sorry I never got the chance to tell Ed. So sorry for your family's loss.

I will always remember going to the pharmacy for lunch with my Dad, Frank Brye. Rick and I always looked forward to going to work with dad so that we could go to see Eddie and Mary for lunch, best lunches ever. Hardly a day went by over the last twelve years that I didn't get a friendly wave of the hand from Ed; what a special treat it has been for me to experience his friendship! Ed and Mary, you are the greatest neighbors anyone could ever ask for. I could sit and watch you for hours and you would listen to those who would call out the orders no matter how many there was and you remembered everyone of them. I would say to myself, how did he remember them all. I thought you were the best cook and you made the best burgers. Never could find a burger that tasted as good as yours. You always had a smile on your face and everyone just loved you and you always made time to speak with them and call them by name and make them feel cared for. I am confident that you touched many lives.
