Dennis D. Clark, age 78, of Morristown, Indiana, passed away May 20, 2011 at his residence.

The son of Merritt and Merle Bledsoe Clark, he was born November 9, 1932 in Washington County, Kansas. From 1953 - 1955, he served in the U.S. Army. In 1990, he retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed woodworking and was a Reds fan.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Hendryx Mortuary, New Palestine Chapel - 19 East Main Street. Burial will follow in New Palestine Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the mortuary.

Survivors include his wife, Lily Flowers Clark of Morristown; daughter, Denyse Fraley of Gwynneville; son, Daniel (Julie) of Broad Ripple; brother, Phil Clark of Topeka, Kansas; three grandchildren, Andrea Fraley Longstreet, Thomas Fraley and Spencer Clark; one great-grandchild, Wrigley Longstreet. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Merritt and Merle Clark; sons, Andrew Clark and Randy (Debbie) Clark; brothers, Floyd, Lyle, Edwin, Neal and David.
