David V. Burris, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away April 14, 2012. We have never felt pain so honest or truth so harsh than the loss of our beloved father, grandfather, and friend. Never has a man been more brave or strong than he. It takes a special man to raise more than his 6 children and raise them well. And special he was. Born June 21st, 1930, he spent 65 dedicated years to Locals 3 and 4 as a Bricklayer and Mason along with a multitude of specialties. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and 3 grandchildren. He has 6 surviving children, 3 step children and a combined 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, who all, along with many more, will deeply miss him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2:30 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Friends may visit with the family also on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until time of service at 2:30 PM. Burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
You are invited to go to the Guest Book page to pass along your personal message or tell a story.
Sincerely,
-Your friends at Flanner and Buchanan
