WILLIAMS, Bobby D. – 75

Bobby D. Williams, age 75 of Lafayette, died at 6:43 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at IU Health Arnett Hospital. Born on October 24, 1936 in Sumner County, TN, he was the son of the late Frank A. and Beulah Sircy Williams. He was an Army veteran.

His marriage was to Sandra "Sandy" Ashby on February 21, 1959 in Brookston, IN and she survives. Bobby worked in heating and cooling for Korschot's Heating and Air for 15 years. He was a "jack of all trades". He enjoyed Western movies, was an avid racing fan, loved gardening, and enjoyed story telling, especially to his grandchildren who he loved very much. He was a member of American Legion Post #11.

Surviving with his wife are their four children: Scott Williams (wife, Connie), Susie Bretz (husband, Barry), Joe Williams (companion, Patty Williams) all of Lafayette and Kevin Williams (wife, Shannon) of Attica; a sister, Bonnie Davis of Lafayette, TN and a brother, Roger Williams of Lafayette. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren: Andrew, Kathryn, Jordan, Tristan, Noah, Kassandra, Hannah, April, Madison, and Eli; and 1 great grandchild, Kendyll. He was preceded in death by 6 siblings.

Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Celebrant Lavonne Summers officiating.
