Walter was born on March 18, 1916 and passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017.

Walter was a resident of Indiana at the time of passing.

He graduating from Southport High School.

Walter enlisted in the Navy and was stationed on the U.S.S. Santa Fe during WWII.

Walter was married to Mildred.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 21 2017 at 10 a.m. in St. Roch Catholic Church 3600 S. Pennsylvania St. with prayers being said at the funeral home prior to Mass at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends will gather on Thursday April 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Lauck Veldhof Funeral Cremation Services 1458 S. Meridian St. where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions have been suggested to St. Roch Church.
