I am very sorry to hear of Uncle Dan's passing. It has been a while since we've last seen each other, however, I often reflect on many of the great memories that were made in our time together. From when we visited Indiana, to the various times on vacation's and visits throughout the years. Uncle Dan was, is, and will always be a wonderful man of whom we can always look up to. May peace find you and your family as Uncle Dan is at peace now himself. With all my love........

Rosie, Becky and the Cola Family, Rachel, Mary, Dan/Jenny... I hope you are all together this week sharing the fun memories. Each one of us were all SO lucky just to be around your popo.

I think one of the last times I saw him in Alliance was Rachel and I were out and when we got back he decided to make fish for dinner! I wanted to be nice and didn't like fish at the time but decided to stay anyways. He told just to try it; his lake erie perch baked and with salsa on top... so I did... and sure enough loved it. :) He ALWAYS made me feel part of the family. We all are thinking about your family and send our love!!!

Dear family, i am so sorry for your loss. Dan was such a good man. We always enjoyed his surprised visits to the store when he happened to be in alliance. Hw was always nice enough to run upstairs to see my mom also. Many times he had a joke or two to share with my dad, and i have happy memories of them laughing together. please accept my sincere sympathy. with love and prayers, marie zurbrugg

Mary, Rachel, Becky, Danny, & Rosine,

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Dan's passing. I know his health has been fading for a while. I remember all the times we were together growing up and realize that cousins are truly our first and possibly dearest friends. The fact that he was surrounded by such a loving family brought him peace, I am sure.
