I met Tim for the only time last Thursday during a discussion about data analytics, a topic that was obviously dear to him as well as to myself. I was very impressed by not only his technical knowledge and ability, but by the quality of his character. Tim struck me as a person who made positive impacts on everything he touched in his life. I am very saddened by his passing, and wish that I had gotten to know him more than I did. My condolences to his family.
