I am writing with a message from my father, Charles Pierson, age 91 who had lots of great times with your dad (Steeney). He was related to another fireman, Otto Weer who introduced the two. Dear AWESOME Uncle Steeny,
So hard to say "goodbye for now" to such a wonderful / positive (always smiling) Uncle. WOW- the times we had with Uncle Steeny, Aunt Willy and Cousins on our visits to their home was a time we always looked forward to and still cherish every memory today. My condolences to Floyd's family and friends.
I was introduced to Floyd by his sons Ron and Randy. I had the honor to lift a few brews with Floyd, exchange war stories and just enjoy life.
Because of his warm good humor and "frisky" nature, they are hours I will always remember.
It is said about many people that the world is a better place for someone being in it.
Having seen just a small fraction of the positive impact
