Michael was indeed one of a kind and I feel the would be the first to get up and dance and celebrate every day as if it were our last. Laughter, smiles and lots of hugs are what I remember of Michael. He was gentle of spririt, embraced the good in the world and made you feel like

Mike, Marcia and Family,
I was stunned to see that Michael passed away. David (aka "Mike") saw Kristin's Facebook post, and called me immediately. I can't believe that I hosted your babyshower 44+ years ago-time has passed so quickly. I know that your family has created wonderful memories over the years-may they give all of you some comfort now. Know that I'll be keeping all of you in my prayers, as will countless others-how wonderful to know what rich friendships Michael

`Michael,
How beautiful your memorial service was this morning. I know that you were there with your family and all your friends. I could almost feel your presence and see your smile. What a gift you were to all who knew you and especially to your family.

For Mike, Marcia, Bret and Kristen,
I have not been to a more beautiful service. Michael certainly would have been proud.
The church was stunning and the words spoken so eloquently touched the hearts of

Our Hearts go out to the family in this time of sorrow and loss. We are saddened that we cannot attend to support the family and say our goodbye, as we are out of town at the moment. All of our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Michael's passing this week. We were on the Nautilus staff together at Jefferson HS, and he always made me laugh. He had an amazing charisma and love of people & life. You couldn't help but love Michael, and everybody did. One time I had brought in a dessert to share with the yearbook staff and he insisted I bring him the receipe. So I did, not only was he gracious & excited that

Michael came into my life ten years ago first as a client at the salon I worked at and shortly became a dear friend. We enjoyed so much of the same things. One of those was going to the movie theater for the latest good movie. However, as years passed and lives got busier we slacked on our dates. I wished now that we had kept a standing movie date. He will always be in my thoughts when I go

The few times I met and worked with Michael he was always a pleasure to be around. He was always positive and sincere. My family and I offer our sincerest condolences. We hope you and your family find comfort and peace in this trying time.

Mike, Marcia and family:

You have our deepest sympathy. Michael had a zeal for life that so very few possess. That is what the Walkey family will remember most.
