Helen and Family,

I have a long line of memories of Johnny. He worked for my Dad on the farm, near Otterbein, in the 50's. We used to go mushroom hunting together and we kids played together a lot. Then coincidentally, Larry (my husband) worked with Johnny at the Purdue Fire Dept for many years. A couple of weeks ago, for no apparent reason I was thinking of you and wondering how you were.

I feel so fortunate to have had an Uncle so kind and gentle-natured as Uncle Johnny. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Helen, Sue, Deb, Ann and all of the grandkids.

I was so saddened to hear that Uncle Johnny had passed on. He was my last uncle/aunt to go, and that made it doubly sad. My memories of Johnny were all good ones....He was such a nice person, and he had a great sense of humor and that great smile; and he had great love for his family.
