Memories & Candles
It is August and I just learned that Cheryl has left us. I am so sad - I was just thinking this week that I need to get in contact with her to see how she is doing. I'm so sorry I didn't get to say good-bye. Cheryl and I worked together for about 10 years at Kroger. She was an extremely talented graphic artist. And a good friend. On her 50th birthday, she was so generous as to invite

Kathy,
I was so sorry to hear about your sister. I remember back in the Beeler Ave. days meeting Cheryl and my memory of her was that she was the sweetest girl. Watching the memory video and seeing the picture of Terri and Kim brought tears to my eyes.
It's times like these that makes us realize how precious family and friends are, I would love to see you and the girls. Keep in touch.
I will be praying for your family to get through this tough time, knowing that Cheryl is with Jesus is wonderful.

Cheryl and I were best friends in our early high school years. We lost touch with each other after we went off to college. We had some really fun times, particularly when trying to best Jose Sanchez. I was very sad to hear of her passing. I am sure she was a lovely person as she was a lovely adolescent.

Cheryl was a delight to run into at any time. She always had a friendly hello to share and truly cared how you were doing when she asked "How are you?". I enjoyed the discussions that I shared with her about different types of food and always enjoyed the group dinners she attended after work where she always had something interesting to offer about what we were eating or the type of restaurant we picked. She always had a unique

I am so sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. I worked with her for almost 8 years at Wiley. There wasn't a day that went by where I didn't hear a story from her, get to try a new food she found, or at least stop for a quick chat with her in passing in the halls or in the breakrooms. She will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Cheryl for 4 years at Wiley. I was very surprised and saddened to hear of her passing. She was wonderful to work with and even more wonderful to have a conversation with. I considered her to be a good friend and a great person that will truly be missed.

Rest in peace my friend. You brought so much joy and laughter to others and your talent was unparalleled. I consider myself very lucky to have gotten the chance to work with you and get to know you.
With love and respect,
Nikki

My sincere condolences to Cheryl's friends and families. She was a true force of nature and one of the most innovative designers and artists I've ever worked with. Her humor, quips, pop-culture tidbits and advice helped make my time in Kroger's Advertising department interesting, fun and bearable. Light and peace.
