Mark was a man of great integrity and commitment, but I will remember him most for his constant upbeat attitude and infectious laugh, even when he faced such great challenges. I can tell you that Mark was extremely well respected by the bankers he worked with and supervised, was beloved by the people who worked for and with him, and was an inspiration to us all. He was a co-worker you could rely on at any time and I feel privileged to have had the chance to know him. You have every right to be extremely proud of him. May your warm and loving memories comfort you during this troubling time.

How blessed we are to have known Mark. It seems like yesterday the boys were little kids running around the basketball floor driving Scott crazy! Thank you for welcoming us into your lives. I can't think of Mark without thinking of all of you together. He always had a smile on his face and I know it was because he knew how blessed he was to have such a wonderful family.

My thoughts and prayers go to Mark's family. I worked with Mark on several occasions in Michigan. Somehow we always managed to discuss basketball and how my team (Kansas) took his coach (from Illinois). Mark was very easy to work with and very practical minded. My sincere condolences.
