I had the privilege of spending 2 hours with Butch less than two months before he went to be with the Lord. If it hadn’t have been for Fred Yoder, Steve Rathka, and Larry Biller sharing with me through e-mail of the cancer Butch had, I probably would never have received the blessings I received that Day I spent with him. We shared so many wonderful memories from the past we had at Goshen High School. Butch shared with me

Dennis was so smart, kind and knowledgeable in the Word. He gave us our first NIV Bible for a wedding gift and enscribed a memorable message and, almost 25 years later, we still use the same Bible and think of him when we open it. We had a great family at IPL Perry K Plant. Those were wonderful memories that we will never forget. Our thoughts and prayers are with Becky and family. Rest in Peace, Dennis -- You are Home now!

Dennis (Butch) and I played football together at Goshen High School. he was a tackle and I played end. Butch was a good football player, and it was great playing beside him. He was kind of quite in his own way , but look out if you were on the other team and did something wrong it would fire himup and he would be in the other teams back field the rest of the game.
I know that Dennis is

Dennis will be missed by many. He was a wonderful person and I really enjoyed being with him in Junior High and High School. He was a great football player but never admitted it. He kept the school teachers on their toes but in a nice way. We will pray for him and his family. May he rest in peace and I hope we meet again in the next life. Sincerely, Ken & Yuriko Truex

I remember Dennis as a friend and fun person to be around. We played football together and he inspired all of us on the team with his work ethic.
It was a privilege to be in the Class of 1960 with Dennis "Butch" Warstler.

I was a friend of Dennis' from the third grade. We were team mates on the softball team in grade school. All through junior and senior high school we were friends. We worked together at the A&W drive-in while in high school. We had many good memories of those days at the A&W. After high school, we kept in touch and when he was on leave from the US Navy he would visit my wife and I when he was

Your life had a lot of twists and turns and each day was filled with some special interest. We have a lot of nice memories from things that you shared with us. Sorry that you had to be sick, but we know that your heart was given to Jesus and you now have eternal peace. You will not be forgotten!

Knew Butch from high school years. He was year ahead of me in school. I remember when he drove a truck to pick up milk from farmers. Also the Desoto ( I think it was a Desoto ) he drove . Butch wrote the Green Cucumber on side of car, very funny at time. We also spent weekend together while in the Navy. We got together in Norfolk Virg. We had great time that couple days. Also remember when Butch worked at A&W. God Bless you Dennis RIP Ron Shue
