Ellen and family please know that you are in my heart and in my prayers. Sometimes we do not know the why's in God's plan and we just have to trust. Although I did not personally know Rob, if feel like I did through all the stories and pictures Ellen shared will us at work. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask. Rely on your Faith and trust in God's plan as hard as it

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Henke family for your loss.
Our fondest memories are of the numerous family gatherings of the Henkes because of their generous sharing of friendship, fun, laughter, love, food, and of course, beverages! 15 consecutive years of attending Bengals/Steelers games with Rob. Whitewater rafting in WV. The Silver Fox. The Best of Times in Bloomington. Those are just a few of the wonderful times together. Thanks to all of you for sharing your family. God has blessed your special family.

Ellen, Jimmy, Kristen and Danielle we are so sorry for your lost. We were heartbroken to hear that Rob was sick. He was such a nice man. Every time we saw him we learned to know him and love him more and more. It is hard for us to be so far away and not being able to hold you in our arms. We love you. On vous aime.

My heart goes out to you and your family. I have also heard many family stories from Ellen and have always looked at them as a family that truely loved and respected one another. Your family values are how I always looked to to raise my children. May god give you the strength to get through this. Remember that you always have each other. I am always here if you need anything.

Ellen, Jimmy, Kristen, and Danielle:
Like so many others have said, there are no words to express the sorrow I feel for your family, my heart aches. I too have heard countless stories about Rob. Though I never met him, I know he was a great man and loved dearly by all of you.
I pray that you find peace and that our loving God will wrap you in his arms and help you find the strength to get through this difficult time. Hold each other tight also and comfort one another.

Rob was a great man. I had the pleasure knowing Rob through the wine world. I first met Rob when i was the wine Buyer for Johns Spirits in 1997. From there our friendship was started. I used to sell his Beaujolais nuvo every year as the only true Beaujolais. I learned alot from Rob about wine and true appreciation for the craft.. We had plenty of sit down pop a bottle of wine talks.. He will be truly missed.

The Henkes have always been my favorite family, and like all of them, Rob was truly salt of the earth stuff. When they say "It couldn't happen to a nicer guy," the guy they're talking about wishes he could be as nice as Rob. I'm so glad he called me when he was in my hood on business recently. We enjoyed a meal and (of course) wine at Harry Carray's.
Ellen and kids, I know I can not possibly live
