Memories & Candles
Dear family:
I never met Rev. DeMott, but I do know his daughter, Phyllis, and her fine character and Christian compassion. I am praying now for peace for Rev. DeMott's soul and peace for his enitre family. Sincerely, Paula Lenczycki

Rev. DeMott will be remembered as a man of character and integrity. I had the privilege of serving as pastor at First Baptist Church of Greenfield (1989-2008) some years after Rev. DeMott and Ruth had served the church. Over the years I'd heard many positive references to the DeMott's, but had the privilege of meeting them during the city's 200th celebration. The church had invited all the former pastors to return for a homecoming. Pastors Williams, DeMott, Beal, and Lancaster

Rick and Paula,
Your dad was such a wonderful guy. His spirit was sweet, his attitude gentle. I was saddened to hear that he had died. He was a blessing. I will miss him, but I know not nearly as much as you will miss him. In Christ,,
Joe and Lonie Sanders.

Dearest Aunt Ruth & Cousins All,
I felt a mix of sadness & Joy upon hearing of the passing of Uncle Dick. Sadness for the loss experienced by all who loved him and the realization that another DeMott generation has now completely passed. Joy with the knowledge that he is seeing our Savior face to face and hearing well done good and faithful servant! I always had a warm feeling in my heart when ever I would be sharing family history
