Memories of my friend Cheri......
wicked sense of humor!!
private person
animal lover

One of the thing that keeps coming to mind was that Cheri despite her petite size ate with gusto!! Cheri and I used to go out for breakfast nearly every week-end. When Cheri was hungry by gosh get outta the way!! That little tiny woman needed food! It's funny cuz we'd be running around going to thrift shops or garage sales, but when Cheri got hungry that was it!! We'd

Cheri struggled constantly with adversity that was largely related to her condition. But when she was up, she was really up! She had contacted me through an online dating site, probably because I had a picture of me playing bass in a band. She went to many of our shows and took lots of great photos. We loved each other, but something always seemed to get in the way and we had many disagreements. But she told me I would always be part of her spiritual family. God bless you Cheri.

Cheri was the office manager at my apartment complex at NCState University. And though my interactions with her were brief, they were numerous enough for me to see and value the person she was. Her kind spirit and dedication to her job were evident. And I am richer having met her and for that I submit my thanks. May her soul shine bright forever.

We discussed spirituality, and

You'll be missed Cheri! Such a beautiful lady! An angel on earth and now an angel in heaven!

Cheri was my precious niece that I loved dearly. I remember her as a little girl with beautiful blond hair and pretty blue eyes just like her mothers. We shared a common illness called depression that has the ability to rob a person of their joy in life. Cheri was an intelligent, beautiful, woman who loved animals and sought spiritual happiness through her studies and church. My prayer is that Cheri is at peace and in the loving arms of her mother and grandmothers. I know that she is with God and his angels.
