Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Cheri, I thought of you just a couple of weeks ago. Though we have not spoken in years, I have always had fond memories of our friendship through high-school and into our twenties; we shared so much laughter and companionship. My heart is sad today to hear this news and I will always think of you surrounded by light and Love. You were a bright spot in my life and in this world.
Love, Beth

I only knew Cheri a short time but she made a big impact on me. She was incredibly kind and had a wisdom about her that was very unique. She helped and touched so many people, I hope that she knows how much she was loved by all. I miss you so much Cheri and think of you daily.

Cheri struggled constantly with adversity that was largely related to her condition. But when she was up, she was really up! She had contacted me through an online dating site, probably because I had a picture of me playing bass in a band. She went to many of our shows and took lots of great photos. We loved each other, but something always seemed to get in the way and we had many disagreements. But she told me I would always be part of her spiritual family. God bless you Cheri.

Cheri was the office manager at my apartment complex at NCState University. And though my interactions with her were brief, they were numerous enough for me to see and value the person she was. Her kind spirit and dedication to her job were evident. And I am richer having met her and for that I submit my thanks. May her soul shine bright forever.
