Aldwilda B. Brann, 94, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011. She was born April 1, 1917 in Sturgis, Kentucky to the late David Crockett and Ella (Dill) Poag.
Mrs. Brann was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the National Colonial Dames XVII Century and was an honorary Kentucky Colonel. She was an accountant and had worked for Jackson Brothers Realty for several years.
Mrs. Brann is survived by her children, Strother (Eda) Brann II, Michele (Fred) Burgess and Mary Handy; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Strother H. Brann; brother, Winston Poag; and sister, Lorene Grasty.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Monday, September 12, 2011 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel.
